Good for the money

Its good for the money, but its a little slow

DRUPOUTS!!! STILL NO UPDATES!!! 5 mounts. Guys PLEASE!!!

Вылетает при переключении между программами, невозможно работать. Very good analyzer!! but... Dropouts!!! When working with mixer remote and switching between this analyzer and mixer remote program, analyzer didnt show up!!! Some times it does some times not, and its not workable situation while working on life stage. It takes about 5-10 times to try to turn it on. I have ipad 5 air, iOS 7.0.2 during the 5 month no updates!

Its worth the price

Im a sound engineer and I use this app all the time. Its not the cheapest, but it has a lot of usual features. Get it

Excellent professional application; but can be entertaining also.

Thank you for a well thought out, fast loading app. I wish I could send this to every church and every community theater in the country. How many people are frustrated with the performance of their sound system simply because they dont use their EQ properly because they have no idea how to set it? You can spend all the money you want on a sound system and it can still sound like a piece of crap just because the EQ is set wrong. Any sound engineer who has used a spectrum analyzer will immediately know what to do with the information that is displayed. I am the sound engineer at my church, and I have been the sound engineer on many of our community theater productions, and I use this app at least once a week, Usually more. Even when there is just a mild "ring" superimposed on a speakers voice, I can within seconds identify the frequency and use my parametric EQ to just dial it out. Additionally, when we set up a portable system somewhere, I can blow pink noise through the system and use this app to identify peaks and then flatten out the response with a 31-band graphic EQ before anyone even picks up a mic. Everyone and everything sounds good from the get-go. Makes me look real good! I remember the first portable analyzer I ever saw; it was from a company called Ivy; it was about the size of an iPad mini but about 3 inches thick and had a big silver analysis mic sticking out of the top of it like an antenna. It cost several thousand dollars and used a matrix of old-school red LEDs. Now I have a much better one on my phone that was either free or a couple of bucks. My, how things have changed. Musicians and Sound People Need This

Well-done app! Looks great on my iPad Pro and seems to do everything as-advertised. Definitely recommended.

Screen flashes incessantly. Not useable

As mentioned in previous reviews. Still not fixed. Works only in spectrograph mode. Feeling a bit ripped off since some newer reviews are positive, but fails date to late 2015 update.

Very easy to use

Not complicated plus it includes a tone generator that generates different tones plus pink noise and white noise.

Almost there

Seems cool but keeps flickering hopefully they will fix it on a update!

Doesnt work with iOS 10

No longer works with iOS 10. Doesnt look like the app is being updated either given the last update is pretty old.

Spectrum Analyzer

As a former IEEE Technical Committee Chair for Signal Processing, I find this app amazingly flexible and useful. First test was to analyze the overly-noisy coffeehouse this morning. Worked very well with its proper designed-in control selections. I only wish that a spectrum could be captured and transferred to my Mac for further analysis and display.

So cool, for Hearing Aids!

Now that insurance companies have gotten into the hearing aid game, these devices have gotten far more capable, expensive, and complicated to tune. What i use to adjust with a screw driver at home now requires a computer and visit to the audiologist. And so after a life time of others controlling what I could hear, I found I was horrible at relating sounds to frequencies. So now whats bass, tinny, brassy, echo, reverb? All I knew was these $6000 hearing aids were by far the most expensive and worst sounding aids of my life! This app came to my rescue! So, now rather than having to say "my wifes voice is screechy loud, the tea kettle was blowing my ears, and yet i cant hear the train", and letting my audiologist guess the frequencies. This app put me in control by giving me a visual reference of the sounds around me. No more frequency guessing. I was blown away when I found my biggest issue. Every so often my ears would "yike", I had no idea if it was sound or defective aids. Twenty minutes into using this app my ears "yoked" just as this app indicated a loud high frequency narrow band clap! I had no idea of the source of the sound but I knew exactly what I did not need to hear! Combined this app with a media player app with a capable equalizer like "EQu" you can adjust, play, and see all you can hear. I found this app easy to use and give it top ratings. My audiologist will love this thing.

Easy to use analyzer for everyone!

I make a lot of electronic music and this analyzer helps me get all the pitches just the way I want. Ive also even used this to tune my new home theater setup and even my car audio settings. So easy to use and very accurate!!

Super cool way to see the sounds around you

So I was looking for a way to see how noisy it was in my office. Saw this app an wow. This app is so cool, showing me exactly how much noise is around. Whistle a tune and watch the analyzer show you your sounds. Cool App. Thanks

Perfect

This is the best spectrum analysis app. I have tried the others and this has the best performance, overall look, and a very well laid out UI. Get this one! I have worked in the audio industry for over 10 years, including audio product design, acoustic analysis, and tuning. This app is the best audio utility app Ive encountered on iOS.

Brilliant!!!!

Awesome analyzer - highly recommended!!!!

Exactly what I needed

This app is gold. Does everything it should. Its got octave, FFT, different response speeds, full screen, can pause and its extremely accurate. Beautifully designed to apple standards. Cred: Sound design student at Berklee College of Music

Excellent app

Excellent, very easy to use but packed with power. Highly recommend.

Cant get notes from spectrograph

I bought this to help transcribe music. But there is no tool for extracting notes from the spectrograph, so unless you manually convert frequency (Hz) to notes, which is laborious, its useless. Spectrogram Pro does this for $2.99; I was hoping this would have some additional useful features, but really none of the modes but the spectrograph are useful for transcription.

Excellent reference tool

Bought this app for an on the fly reference tool. First opportunity to try it out was at the local theater last night. Seven actors with lapel Mics and feedback galore. Within minutes we had identified resonate frequencies in the room and made adjustments. A must have for any serious sound man.

Great App

This makes RTA of car audio systems much easier.
