Spectrum Analyzer RTA 应用的评论

Visually beautiful, and exactly what I expected technically

Bought this to measure a high-frequency hum which disappeared when I bought the app. So thanks for that. Seriously, though, a very nice UI wrapper around the FFT.

Best RTA on the App Store, PLEASE UPDATE!

i’m very pleased by this Spectrum Analyzer; it is the only one that I’ve found that can run at full speed on an iPad Air 2! A+ To the devs; if you’re still updating this app, i’d appreciate a way to select other inputs on audio interfaces; I’d love the ability to monitor what’s coming into inputs 3+4.

Absolute perfection

I have used this app for many many years and made lots of money fixing sound issues. Also, the Spectrograph at max sensitivity can find any power whine to help regain your sanity. 10/10

Cool App!

Love this app, and the customer service is top notch 👍

New App

Faber tried to rip me off by bricking my app with IOS 13 I refused to buy into their greed and purchased this app glad IO did it works really well Good App

Fast and Easy

Simple instructions, easy to use on my iPhone 6. Just make sure the mic port is not obstructed...or better yet, buy a Dayton Audio iMM-6 ref. mic from Amazon $15 becaus it has better low end response

Excellent professional application; but can be entertaining also.

Thank you for a well thought out, fast loading app. I wish I could send this to every church and every community theater in the country. How many people are frustrated with the performance of their sound system simply because they don't use their EQ properly because they have no idea how to set it? You can spend all the money you want on a sound system and it can still sound like a piece of crap just because the EQ is set wrong. Any sound engineer who has used a spectrum analyzer will immediately know what to do with the information that is displayed. I am the sound engineer at my church, and I have been the sound engineer on many of our community theater productions, and I use this app at least once a week, Usually more. Even when there is just a mild "ring" superimposed on a speaker's voice, I can within seconds identify the frequency and use my parametric EQ to just dial it out. Additionally, when we set up a portable system somewhere, I can blow pink noise through the system and use this app to identify peaks and then flatten out the response with a 31-band graphic EQ before anyone even picks up a mic. Everyone and everything sounds good from the get-go. Makes me look real good! I remember the first portable analyzer I ever saw; it was from a company called Ivy; it was about the size of an iPad mini but about 3 inches thick and had a big silver analysis mic sticking out of the top of it like an antenna. It cost several thousand dollars and used a matrix of old-school red LEDs. Now I have a much better one on my phone that was either free or a couple of bucks. My, how things have changed. Sent from my iPhone

Absolutely Essential App

Every feature is top of the line. I especially like the spectrograph for finding feedback after the fact and that it displays the overall level on the RTA

Spectacular lightweight analysis app

Hi! Are use this app to assist me and ringing out stage monitors as it is a lightweight easy to use simple and accurate bit of software that does exactly what you wanted to do and stays out of the way otherwise. I give it five stars for its smooth trouble free and solid performance.

Great app!

Im a professional sound engineer, this app is great! Very accurate!

Don’t buy

Doesn’t work at all. Used to but they don’t know how to update something we pay for. If it’s not updated in the next day don’t bother downloading the app. I’ve used it for 2 years every weekend but they don’t know how to make it work for the new iOS. If they don’t update it like they should, they don’t care about “YOU” the consumer.

iPhone X issue

Great app but need to update for iPhone X. Can’t believe has not been done yet. Are the developers for this app paying attention ?

Great App

Worth every penny. Had a chance to email developers and got a response in a reasonable time.

Works great for me on the current ios 10.3.3

This is a very cool app. I'm a total novice, but this tool allows me to analyze sound. It's fun. I only wish there was an online tutorial to help me learn faster. This app rocks!

This app seems to work fine now

Update 6/20/17: The problem noted below seems to have been resolved without an update to the app. Quite possibly, the problem was in iOS, not the app. iOS was updated recently. Old review: It worked for about an hour and then stopped after I switched to another app temporarily. No longer would it take input from the microphone, so the graphs went blank. I found a trick to get it working again: I just plugged a device into the headphone jack and removed it. Voilà, it worked again.

I was surprised how far to push my car stereo settings--nice!

Seems to work best if I attach the iPhone to the car via USB for pink noise generator, and use iPad for spectrum analysis. Doing both on the iPhone alone, the iPhone noticeably diminished the pink noise volume. I used iPhone 7+ and iPad Pro with iOS 10.3.2, and the screen is completely steady. Even with the iPhone 4S, the screen is completely steady.

Broken in OS10

The app no longer responds to any level of sound.

iOS 10 device glitch…

There is a glitch with the UI in which the scale button displays "Decade" instead of "Log". This doesn't appear to happen on iOS 9 devices.

Excellent app

This app works great and have a very pleasing look and feel. I design sound systems and this app is useful to get a visual on how my system is performing. This app is also going to be useful for training or testing employees. The app does what it's supposed to and if you get a good external mic it becomes a lot more precise. This tool is well worth the money and I really couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

Doesn't work with iOS 10

No longer works with iOS 10. Doesn't look like the app is being updated either given the last update is pretty old.

Almost there

Seems cool but keeps flickering hopefully they will fix it on a update!

Very easy to use

Not complicated plus it includes a tone generator that generates different tones plus pink noise and white noise.

Screen flashes incessantly. Not useable

As mentioned in previous reviews. Still not fixed. Works only in spectrograph mode. Feeling a bit ripped off since some newer reviews are positive, but fails date to late 2015 update.

Musicians and Sound People Need This

Well-done app! Looks great on my iPad Pro and seems to do everything as-advertised. Definitely recommended.

It's worth the price

I'm a sound engineer and I use this app all the time. It's not the cheapest, but it has a lot of usual features. Get it

works great

would be nice if you could analyze while playing music

Still Broken

Looks like this app is still not working! Screen flashes constantly while in use. Hope they fix it, since they got my money.

Looks nice and that's it... 2 laggy for my needs.

Don't get me wrong. This app is ok but... I purchased it to utilize my iPad Air 2 with iRig HD as analyzer in production (studio) enviroment. I often use RME/Lynx class audio equipment so quality of audio output from my rig is not an issue. The problem is, that the visualization is laggy, even at low settings - it looks smooth but is delayed for 300-500 ms. It doesn't help with mixing - looks like I'm forever bonded with BlueCat plugins. I'm giving 3 stars because I've just lost almost 15 bucks and ain't gonna use it. Sorry, I was expecting better and much more usable tool. I will change my opinion and rating, if you will deliver solid performance update. Maybe this type of latency is something acceptable on iOS but not in my world.

Couldn't ask for more

Functionally has everything that I could want from an FFT/spectrograph tool, and the design is intuitive and polished. Absolutely earns a five star review, and was worth every penny.

RTA

Best tool of it's kind ever downloaded here... Much better than expected... 73s from Dave AA1A

Great concept but unusable

This app looks promising but the screen just keeps flashing and you can't see anything. It needs an update to fix this bug, until then don't waste your money.

Exactly what I wanted

Very nice analyzer for the price. Recommend.

Sound guy

Was working great until this last update. Now the screen flashes/strobes constantly. Very distracting.

Luthier

I use this app for on the spot analysis of stringed instruments I construct and repair as well as checking out those I might purchase at retail. I find the octave RTA suits my purposes best. And you can't beat the price. Does the same thing as versions costing $75 or more.

Spectra

Always wanted a analyst tool like this and thought they were to expensive or complicated, thank you! Great price and very easy to operate!

Best quick analyzer

I use this app on a daily basis for its great FFT. Perfect to quickly ring out monitors and even pinpoint trouble frequencies at FOH.

Great mobile RTA tool

I use this for quick and handy analysis for ringing out stage monitors and as a second reference to validate my DBX PA2 analyzer. It's very accurate, particularly if you use the Dayton Audio measurement mic, designed specifically for mobile devices. This is truly an impressive app.

Great app, straight forward.

Probably a lot more sophisticated than necessary for my needs, but simple enough to do what it says. Sort of choked on $14.99 but I used it to EQ an auto setup, it did great, audibly better setup.

Sometimes Crashes On Startup

Otherwise it would be a five star app! One thing that could also make it better would be some way to save and share the results.

Nicely done

Very useful app, though is it possible to have an option to calculate db instead of only dbFS? If so it would serve all my needs.

Best Analyzer I've Found

I actually own a handheld RTA and have other software on my laptop for analyzing audio. I had just installed a stereo in my truck and wanted to use them to adjust the 13-band 2-channel EQ. For some reason, I just couldn't get it to sound right with either of my more expensive devices. I noticed several RTA apps in the App Store and figured I'd give them a try. I couldn't imagine that they would do as well as my much more expensive gear, but I might as well try. As I mentioned above, I tried out several apps, but one just seemed to work more naturally than the others: Octave RTA (part of this Spectrum Analyzer suite). I was able to use the full octave mode to match the bands of the RTA with my EQ and adjust them perfectly. When I was done, it sounded great. I couldn't believe that a simple app (even using the built-in microphone!) on my iPad could do so well. Totally worth the money. In fact, I originally bought Octave RTA, but ended up also purchasing Spectrum Analyzer as well since it includes a tone generator.

Great App

Well done. Solid app.

Really Slick

I am loving this app. Everything I need for audio testing for video minus a proper mic. Not the developers fault, they did their job 100% with this app. Don't leave home without it.

Crash

Crashes and won't start without a full shutdown on my iPad mini.

Awesome

Dig.

Great educational tool!

I work in the acoustics field, and this app is a great education and outreach tool. The spectral view is beautiful, and the choice of log vs. linear scale is important for teaching the differences between high frequency signals and low frequency signals. The developer is very responsive, always a plus in my book.

Great App

Works well... Seems to pickup and read a lot of very sub low all the time though. Thinking about buying MicW i436 to further improve the functionality of the app. Would like to see an SPL feature added that tells me how "loud" it is in the room.

Very cool

This app works. I can sit for hours just watching it. Great price and does exactly what it says it does. I used it to tune my new audio system in my car.

Really cool tool and good support

Works well, support provided clear options for my needs other than an external mic. Am able to connect monitor selects/cues straight from my board to my iPad/iPhone; using other vendor connections. It woul be nice if the app had an oscope function.
